Keza Kristie was signed by her agency as a commercial model, but surprisingly, she has done more runway work than commercial. When fashion week came around, she attended a casting without much hope because she believed she was only suited for “commercial,” even though becoming a fashion model was actually her goal. By the grace of God, she was selected by many brands, and that opportunity helped her build a name in the scene. Since then, she has consistently worked in fit modeling, promotional modeling, and runway. Keza hopes to do more commercial work and print modeling and is grateful that the magazine is allowing her to do so, with hopes of receiving more similar opportunities in the future. She is not a fan of bikini work unless it is commercial and specifically requested by her agency, and she does not do nude work. The only exception she would consider for nude work would be for Vogue.

In addition to modeling, Keza is also a student, and balancing school with her modeling career can be challenging and consuming, but she manages it well because she loves both. She often travels to other cities for work and enjoys it as an opportunity to discover new places. She would love to travel internationally for modeling, with the only requirements being that she does not travel alone for safety reasons and that all travel expenses are covered.

One of the most challenging experiences Keza has faced occurred during a runway show where she was walking for the majority of the brands. One brand required an alternative gothic look that made her almost unrecognizable, while the very next brand wanted a glamorous look. With only 15 minutes in between, she had to completely transform—new wig, new makeup, and a new outfit—and somehow managed to pull it off. To this day, she is still unsure how she did it. Keza is very organized, especially at work, and she always carries a modeling bag filled with essentials she might need. Her bag includes makeup products, clothing, an extra pair of heels, and many other items useful during shoots and runways. She also makes a point of asking organizers what they would like her to wear or if they need anything specific, and she ensures she arrives at least 15 minutes early, fully prepared.
