NOW SHOWING: (6LACK)

6LACK

LOVE IS THE NEW GANGTA (8.3/10)

“Bird Flu” feels like a return to 6LACK’s core identity, but with a colder, more detached energy. This isn’t radio-friendly vibes—it’s introspective, almost isolating R&B/rap fusion. The title itself plays metaphorically—less about anything literal, more about emotional contamination, trust issues, and survival in relationships.

The record is positioned as a lead into his new era tied to Love Is The New Gangsta  , and you can feel that shift immediately.

PETTYASSPUNKIN

TRENCH B**CH VOL. 2 (9/10)

PettyAssPunkin’s Trench B**ch Vol. 2 arrives with a bold trap aesthetic, carrying both grit and polish in equal measure. From the moment the first track hits, it’s clear that the production is more than beats—it’s a layered, well-structured canvas that gives PettyAssPunkin room to paint her raw personality and fearless energy across every song.

The standout for us at Red Print Magazine is “Whatever.” It’s infectious, unapologetically catchy, and built for replay value—the kind of track that lingers in your head long after it’s over. PettyAssPunkin’s delivery here is sharp yet playful, proving her ability to command a record and make it stick.

Overall, Trent Bitch Vol. 2 earns a strong 9/10 from us. Its strength lies in the crisp production, memorable hooks, and the undeniable energy PettyAssPunkin brings to the trap scene. If there’s one note we’d give, it would be this: don’t be afraid to step outside the formula. A few slower, more experimental cuts could expand the emotional range of the project and show even more depth to her artistry.

But make no mistake—this EP is a statement. PettyAssPunkin isn’t just riding the trap wave; she’s carving out her own lane, and we’re here for the ride.

NOW SHOWING:( KAL KALILI & J3 COOKIN)

KAL KALILI & @J3_COOKIN

1 IN A MILLION (9.5/10)

KAL KALILI delivers an exceptional performance on a well-produced track by J3 Cookin. The standout quality of this piece can largely be attributed to KAL's remarkable vocal delivery; he effortlessly glides over the music, showcasing his impressive vocal range. One aspect I genuinely admire about him as an artist is his extraordinary ability to craft hooks that resonate deeply with listeners, transforming them into memorable anthems.

“1 in a Million” exemplifies this talent, emerging as an anthem that lingers in the mind long after it is listened to. It is evident that KAL intends to create radio-ready music, and thus far, all his tracks successfully reflect this goal.

However, I cannot award this song a perfect score, primarily due to its brevity. I find myself wanting more from this particular track.

NOW SHOWING:RIK BANDZ FEAT. SAMUEL SHABAZZ

RIK BANDZ FEAT. SAMUEL SHABAZZ

STAMPED (8.5/10)

This track is called: Stamped Featuring Shabazz

Rik Bandz delivers a gritty, street-certified anthem with "Stamped," a track that oozes authenticity and confidence from the start. The production is driven by a heavy, bass-laden beat layered with crisp hi-hats and eerie melodic loops—classic trap aesthetics that set the tone for Rik's assertive delivery.

Lyrically, Stamped is all about validation—earning respect in the streets and standing firm in one's identity. Rik's flow is deliberate and charged, with punchlines that strike a balance between braggadocio and real-life hustle. He doesn't overcomplicate the message; instead, he leans into repetition and bold declarations to hammer his point home: he's official, no questions asked.

While the track doesn’t break new sonic ground, it’s a solid example of trap music done right—gritty, confident, and made to be played loud.

Samuel Shabazz presents a compelling sound that complements Rik Bandz's assertion that others believe they are competing with him, yet they are far from his level. He emphasizes the importance of remaining unfazed by their opinions, stating, "Let them say what they will; there is no need for boasting."

NOW SHOWING: KAL KALIL FEAT. CNOTEP

KAL KALIL FEAT. CNOTEP

red, light, green light (10/10)

This track is called: Red Light, Green Light

Being in the studio and observing their energy between two dynamic duos reminds me of my friend and me during our musical endeavors—he was primarily the singer, and I took the role of rapper. The comparison that comes to mind is akin to the partnership of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal during their time with the Lakers. The vibe created while recording this track is reminiscent of that collaboration. Cnotep's verse was exceptionally impressive, and Kal's smooth hook and bridge were incredible.

NOW SHOWING: (SNXWPHIA)

SNXWPHIA

SINGLE TRACK: VICTIM COMPLEX (7.5/10)

The track "Victim Complex" opens with a captivating skit that transitions into a deep, low-pitched melody, effectively engaging the audience. This soft beat evokes a unique soundtrack vibe that is refreshingly original. Artist Snxwphia guides listeners on an immersive journey with her distinctive low melodic sound in this particular song. - Red Print Magazine
